F.A.Q.
What is expected when joining one of our online classrooms?
Following our unique curriculum and methodology, the OMC teacher conducts a live interactive online lesson in a five-student Zoom classroom. All students and teachers can see and hear each other during the classes.
What is the average class size?
On average, there are five students in each classroom. With two difficulty levels per grade, we’re able to ensure that each child is placed in a class that is both appropriately challenging and academically nurturing.
How long does a class last?
Class duration varies depending on a student’s age and math level. For example, we mix activities with manipulatives (tools for active learning) to keep younger students engaged visually and mentally. Therefore, such a lesson might be longer than one for older students.
Who are our teachers?
Our teachers have backgrounds in mathematics and are highly passionate about the subject. They go through extensive training to teach according to our specific methodology and curriculum.
How to register for the first lesson?
Contact us by submitting the following form. We will get back to you within the next 12 hours with a personalized schedule for you.
What about homework?
We strongly encourage parents not to do the work for their children. Homework helps students improve their problem-solving skills and get a better understanding of the class material. We believe this comprehension is more important than getting good grades.
