Andrew Chavez
Education:
I have a master’s degree in power engineering. Currently, I am a Ph.D. student at Tomsk Polytechnic University. As a bachelor, I studied in Prague for a year as an exchange student. Moreover, I participated in many scientific conferences with my scientific research concerning relay protection and automation of power systems.
Professional experience:
I worked at Gazprom as a relay protection engineer on the oil field from October 2017 to March 2019. From October 2019 to June 2020, I had been working as an electrical power supply designer.
Teaching experience:
My hobbies have always been dancing and Math. My parents are dancing teachers, so I started dancing at the age of seven, and when I was 16, I began to teach dancing. I am still a dancing teacher. I teach house dance in my free time, that is my hobby and passion.
After finishing my studies at Czech Technical University, I decided that my knowledge of mathematics was knowledgeable enough to start tutoring others. I’ve been teaching math since August 2017. Currently, I have 15 students.
English level:
I have an ITEP academic plus certificate that ensures my advanced level of English proficiency. Why teach others? I do enjoy teaching because I love people and feel like I am making a difference.
Hobbies:
Mathematics, dancing, traveling, sports, reading, English language and culture, self-development.
